This bar was part of my buying spree at Chocolata. It’s a great example of how important it is to read labels carefully. I was having so much fun talking with the owner, Steve Jennings, I didn’t do that. I thought I saw an intriguing 60% bar with only 3 grams of sugar per serving. In a head-set that will never resonate with mine, they deem 10 grams a serving (most bars consider around 40 grams a typical portion). So, I was already a little miffed before I even tasted it. The temper is nice and snappy, but what they insist is a great balance of acid, sweet and bitter flavors came off as simply bitter to me.
